How virtual appointments work
Virtual appointments take place through a secure, HIPAA-compliant video platform. Once your appointment is scheduled, you'll receive a link to join at your scheduled time.
To join, you'll need a device with a camera and microphone, such as a computer, tablet, or smartphone, a stable internet connection, familiarity navigating video conferencing technology, and a private space where you can speak openly.
What to expect during a virtual visit
Virtual appointments follow the same structure as in-person visits. You'll meet with your provider for the full length of your appointment, whether that's an evaluation, a follow-up, or a therapy session.
Privacy and security
Your privacy matters throughout every virtual appointment. Alpine Psychiatry uses a secure platform designed to protect your personal health information, and your provider will confirm you're in a private setting before your appointment begins.

Many Alpine Psychiatry services are available virtually, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and therapy. Some services, including interventional options such as TMS and SPRAVATO®, require an in-person visit at select locations.
