Victoria is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Director with 8+ years of experience in a variety of mental health settings both clinically and serving in leadership and clinical supervision roles ranging from youth foster care and social welfare, outpatient substance abuse and opiate dependence programs, university counseling center, and outpatient mental health. Victoria is also an adjunct professor at Villanova University with 5+ years of teaching experience where she teaches master level counseling students.
Victoria believes in the collaborative therapeutic relationship where her role is to facilitate growth, change, and healing. Victoria takes an integrated approach to therapy which begins with establishing a trusting relationship and environment. She incorporates techniques from Client Centered, Transactional Analysis, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Cognitive/ Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy through a neuroscience, attachment, and developmental lens.
She is EMDR trained and utilizes that model with clients that have a trauma story or experience to work through in a way that differs from traditional talk therapy. Victoria believes in meeting the client where they are at and guiding them towards the development of insight and awareness of how thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and relationships are connected in creating a well balanced life.
