Genevieve is a Therapy Intern at Alpine Psychiatry and is currently earning her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Arcadia University, where she is pursuing advanced training in trauma counseling. She provides therapy for adolescents, adults, older adults, couples, members of the LGBTQ+ community, and individuals who have experienced trauma. Her clinical interests include trauma recovery, eating disorders, grief, life transitions, identity exploration, and relationship concerns.
Throughout her training, Genevieve has worked with clients experiencing a wide range of emotional and mental health concerns in diverse clinical settings. She values creating a therapeutic relationship built on trust, collaboration, and respect, helping clients develop practical tools while gaining greater insight into the experiences that have shaped their lives. She takes a trauma-informed, whole-person approach to care, recognizing that emotional well-being is closely connected to physical health, relationships, and daily life.
Genevieve's therapeutic approach is compassionate, thoughtful, and tailored to each individual's unique goals. She integrates evidence-based modalities including Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Relational-Cultural Therapy, psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness-based interventions, and other approaches that support lasting growth and resilience. She has completed specialized training through the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN) in addition to trauma-focused graduate coursework, strengthening her ability to support individuals recovering from difficult life experiences.
Genevieve believes meaningful progress begins with feeling understood and supported. She strives to create a welcoming, affirming environment where clients can build self-awareness, strengthen resilience, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
In recognition of her academic excellence and dedication to the counseling profession, Genevieve was inducted into Arcadia University's chapter of Alpha Epsilon Lambda (AEL), the national honor society for graduate and professional students.
