Provider / Ayanna Garret, LMSW, RYT-500

Ayanna Garret

Ayanna is a Licensed Master Social Worker and 500-hour Registered Yoga Teacher with over 15 years of experience working with adolescents, adults, and families across diverse mental health settings.

She has provided clinical care for individuals navigating:

  • Substance use and addiction recovery
  • Serious Mental Illness (including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder)
  • Depression and other mood disorders
  • Anxiety disorders and panic attacks
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and complex trauma
  • Adjustment difficulties and life transitions

Ayanna’s background also includes work with children and youth in foster care, child welfare, and schools, where she developed behavior modification plans, provided trauma-informed therapy, and supported family systems.

Her therapeutic style blends evidence-based practices — such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Trauma-Focused interventions — with holistic approaches including mindfulness, yoga, somatic awareness, and mindset coaching. This integrative lens allows her to not only address clinical symptoms but also support deeper healing, resilience, and self-discovery.

Ayanna believes therapy is a collaborative process rooted in safety, trust, and compassion. She creates an inclusive space where clients feel seen and supported as they release what no longer serves them, reconnect with their authentic selves, and step into balance, confidence, and peace.
