Joseph graduated from Walden University and is a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He brings experience from The University of Penn Health System, Hall Mercer Crisis Response Center, Temple University Health System, and The Horsham Clinic. His primary goal is to promote the well-being of the patients. To achieve this objective, he actively listens to the patients in a way that allows them to fully explain, in detail, the reason they are seeking help. He feels that this approach will foster the development of a trusting and therapeutic relationship with his patients. What to expect at your first visit with Joe: During the first visit to our office a full medical history and psychiatric evaluation is taken on the patients. In addition, to help develop a treatment plan, the patients will be asked to discuss the reason they are seeking treatment, their background information, including a family history and their goals for treatment.

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, my goal is to provide culturally informed mental health care to complex acute and chronic psychiatric disorders while having the client play an active part in decision-making. The initial visit aims to build a therapeutic relationship with adolescents, adult clients, and families when providing individualized treatment plans. I will work with clients to identify their strengths to assist them in working towards their goals.

Rachel (she/her) earned her BA in Psychology from Temple University where she focused on clinical psychology. Her passion for mental health awareness led her to become a long term volunteer at The Therapy Center of Philadelphia; a non-profit that provides affordable therapy for women, transgender, and gender non-conforming communities. Rachel cherished her time here while assisting with intake coordination, office management and outreach events. Her volunteer experience helped nurture her social empathy skills which she carried over into her time as a restaurant manager. Rachel has a true passion for people and strives to always create a safe and accommodating environment for all. At Alpine Psychiatry, Rachel manages the day to day operations of our practice. She handles scheduling, inusrance verfification, billing, pharmacy issues and so much more. If you have any questions about our practice, Rachel is always happy to assist.
