Joseph graduated from Walden University and is a Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. He brings experience from The University of Penn Health System, Hall Mercer Crisis Response Center, Temple University Health System, and The Horsham Clinic. His primary goal is to promote the well-being of the patients. To achieve this objective, he actively listens to the patients in a way that allows them to fully explain, in detail, the reason they are seeking help. He feels that this approach will foster the development of a trusting and therapeutic relationship with his patients. What to expect at your first visit with Joe: During the first visit to our office a full medical history and psychiatric evaluation is taken on the patients. In addition, to help develop a treatment plan, the patients will be asked to discuss the reason they are seeking treatment, their background information, including a family history and their goals for treatment.

As a psychiatric nurse practitioner, my goal is to provide culturally informed mental health care to complex acute and chronic psychiatric disorders while having the client play an active part in decision-making. The initial visit aims to build a therapeutic relationship with adolescents, adult clients, and families when providing individualized treatment plans. I will work with clients to identify their strengths to assist them in working towards their goals.
